Regular maintenance of an Automatic Opening Ventilation system is all important if the reliability and therefore life saving properties of that system are to be maintained.
BS7346 Part 1:1990 and BS5588 Part 1:1990 recommend that an A.O.V. system is serviced and maintained by authorised personnel on a regular basis.
A.C.S. will provide a maintenance / service programme which consists of two pre-scheduled visits to site per year. During these visits the entire system is serviced and any faults noted in an on-site logbook. Any damaged items covered under the maintenance policy will be changed immediately.
